Danilo Maddalena has been dancing for 32 years and is internationally recognized for his extensive experience in the competitive dance world. He began training in Ballroom and Latin dances at age seven, earning numerous national and international titles before dedicating himself to Argentine Tango in 2005. Since then, he has collaborated and performed with many of the world’s leading tango artists.

Danilo has been the organizer of the Italian Tango Championship and the European Tango Championship for 10 years, both officially recognized by the Government of Buenos Aires (Festival y Mundial), as well as the Metropolitano Tango Championship in Italy, founded in 2015. In 2020, he co-founded and became president of Metrotango Sports Society, which oversees Italy’s national metropolitan championship circuit—hosting over 16 competitions annually—and two official preliminaries of the World Tango Championship (Italy, Malta, Greece, and Europe).

Together with Pam Est Là, Danilo founded 2 Corazones Tango Accademia in Rimini, Italy. Known for their elegance and refined technique, they focus on biomechanics, connection, and expressive movement in tango. In 2019, they were recognized as the top Italian couple at the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires.
